So there's 3 R's. What do they stand for? Reduce, Reuse, Recycle. So obviously you should recycle all the time, right? I mean, I guess. But the order of these R's are in order of importance. Therefore, you should look to reduce your consumption of disposable (non-compostable, I guess) materials. Once you've reduced, look to reuse. Recycling should only be a last resort.
