I've only read V1 of this LN. Since it was decently popular, I expected a certain level of quality from this story. However, it's one of the most generic isekais in existence, at least as far as V1 went. Obviously, episode 1 is an adaptation of said volume, so the opening episode was quite generic as well. If there's an isekai trope, it's likely it happens in the first episode.
The thing is, it's not bad. But it's not good, either.
I'll keep watching it simply because it's an isekai, though. My rating from reading the LN stands.
