"God-ranked expert"

 What is a "god-ranked expert"?

This term is straight out of Reincarnation of the Strongest Sword God. In that novel, this term referred to a Tier 6 player.

The rarity of these players is in the 1-in-a-billion range.

I really like this term, so I wanted to apply it in real life.

So, what is a "god-ranked expert" in real life?

Wayne Gretzky, Tiger Woods, Michael Jordan, Bobby Fischer, Franz Liszt... What do they all have in common?

They're simply better.

There's no way to sugarcoat it.

Are they above mortals?

In a lot of ways, no.

However, in that one area of expertise, they are undoubtedly godlike.

One who stands above all in the era... something like that. There can be many god-ranked experts in a field. It doesn't just have to be the "goat".

Basically, any "goat candidate", or something of a similar tier, is a god-ranked expert.

Faker and Uzi would both be "god-ranked experts" even though they are of the same community.

Same with Liszt and Thalberg.

Fischer and Kasparov.

It's not quite a one-in-a-billion rarity, but to reach that level... it may as well be.
