Unfortunately I think this is a problem that won't fix itself. Either it's men approaching women for the first time and not knowing why they responded so coldly or women being open to certain men and then regretting it...one continually creates the other. You make something like Tinder to help people who just want to find dates and it turns into a transaction for hookups/scams/ or other kinks etc. What's the right answers? There isn't one. Women as a group are not in consensus and neither are men. Some women will say they don't want guys to talk to them and others say they want them to make the first move - as a guy you cannot possibly know which girls want what for sure and then someone may say that you have to watch for the girl's "hints" but those "hints" are not universal and they can be misread. What would solve that? Women making the first move always with men as the target of attraction...but that won't happen. Also because that has so many problems that could go on forever. Men also have taste too. Even if girls were the main pursuers it'd just be switching sides - whereas men will simply pick the most attractive girls first and ignore the rest. Maybe some women would lie to court the man/take advantage. Nothing would change, just new actors playing the same roles.
This was kind of a tangent but it's just to say that there are unrealistic expectations that such a big population of people are expected to follow when it's impossible to be under such a mutual consensus.
